A Message from Mrs Brien

Dear Parents/Guardians of S1 Pupils

I hope this letter finds you and your family well, as we approach the end of the first full week of term, at Hamilton Grammar School.

The transition to secondary school is a significant milestone, and I am delighted to witness our first year pupils embarking on this exciting journey of growth and learning. The first week of term is a crucial time for our new pupils, as they familiarise themselves with the routines of secondary school, their classmates, and range of subjects.

I also want to express my gratitude for the level of adherence to our School's uniform policy. Seeing our pupils dressed smartly and uniformly fosters a sense of belonging and pride within our school community. As a parent/guardian, I would ask that you please continue to support our uniform policy, as this contributes to the positive culture we aim to maintain across the school.

At Hamilton Grammar School, we place a strong emphasis on tracking pupil progress and attendance and providing regular feedback to both pupils and parents. Our dedicated team of staff is committed to monitoring pupils’ academic and personal development closely. As we move forward, you can expect to receive updates on your child's progress through our reporting systems. These updates will give you valuable insights into achievements and areas for further growth.

With the positive start to the new School year, I am confident that our pupils will continue to thrive academically and socially. Our School prides itself on fostering a nurturing environment where pupils can explore their interests, develop critical thinking skills, and build meaningful relationships.

We are excited to have your family as part of our school community, and I am looking forward very much, to a year filled with growth, learning, and memorable experiences.

Should you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact the school office.

Thank you for your continued support and partnership.

Miss Brien
